Faces of Resilience - Docuseries

Faces of Resilience is a three-part docuseries that follows the lives of Indigenous role models who explore the ways their culture and communities have shaped them into successful and inspiring individuals. Our goal was to create positive representation in the media for Indigenous youth to look up to. The series featured Lyle Thompson, Jenn Harper, and Pam Palmater. In my role, I developed the look of the series, managed our marketing, and post-production which included work editing, creating graphics, and working on set.
With the executive team, I secured $7,000+ of funding and managed relationships with various organizations to make our production and premiere possible. We hosted a well-attended premiere early in March 2020, received the ORT Micki Moore Project Award and aired the Lyle Thompson episode as a part of CBC's Absolutely Canadian Series.
